Nessa Laxamana Spirit Commissioner Tracy High School
" I still wanna try, Still believe in Good days." - SZA
ABOUT ME Nessa Laxamana is a senior this year at THS. This year, she is the co-spirit commissioner alongside Gabe Gutierrez and Aidan Van Os. As co-spirit commissioner, her and her colleagues lead the spirit section (Dogpound) with cheers and chants to support our team during sporting events. As a spirit commissioner, one of her goals is trying to get the whole student body as well as the staff to show their bulldog spirit and support our school. Besides leadership, Nessa is a 4 year member of the Performing Arts Magnet where she plays the violin in our string orchestra. She is also a 4 year member on the THS Swim Team, 4 year member of the Asian Pacific Islander club, and she even helped restart the Key Club at THS and holds a leading officer position! She hopes that the senior class will win homecoming this year and that she will pass her IB tests at the end of the year. Given the circumstances of this school year, Nessa and the rest of the co-spirit commissioners are working on Dogpound ideas when we do go back to school and how to get more people involved in our activities on campus as well as at the games. Outside of school, she loves to go on adventures and explore places with her family or friends, she also enjoys driving (she finally got her license in August), and she LOVES scrolling through pinterest for hours and hours. She loves listening to different kinds of music, but she is waiting for One Direction to get back together and go on tour. After graduating, Nessa wants to go to a college or university in Southern California and major in business and maybe even travel to places that she has been wanting to go. Her main personal goal this year is to be more confident and make more memories that she can look back on when she is older.
